Wow! It was a busy, action packed, and very fruitful time in Siliguri, West Bengal last week. After months of preparation the week of outreach began last Sunday and continued through Friday night. In 5 days the Global Ventures team shared the gospel in 55 different schools all over the city, and we shared the gospel with nearly 50,000 people in the course of the week. Many of those individuals called upon the name of Jesus, and there were many testimonies of healing’s that took place as well.
Thousands heard the gospel in two different strategic locations.
Having this team come for a week and labor alongside our ministry in India has given our outreach a great boost. We are now following up on the individuals who came to the Celebration events held each night, and we are making preparations to plant a new work in Siliguri to help bring in the harvest there. Ultimately we envision a complete Embassy of Hope base in Siliguri, which will be an epicenter for the glory of God in that area.
