To date we’ve conducted 4 session of Ambassador training in Sikkim. Our focus: Equipping the saints to fulfill the great commission. We’ve had 41 students from all over the North East of India. States represented include; Sikkim, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Aranachal Pradesh, as well as the nations of Nepal and Burma. In the last three years we’ve held training during the winter months of Jan – Feb, with one session being done in October. In 2010 we’re going to change things up a bit and hold classes during the summer. Our 5th session is set to begin this August and run through October. We’re expecting another awesome session with many laborers from all over the North East. This is a huge key to reaping India’s harvest – training laborers / equipping the saints! Jesus said, “The harvest is great, but the laborers are few…” (Matthew 9:36). We recognize that in order to bring the harvest in, laborers must be sent out. Please pray for this. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to our 2010 kick off!

Today we had our fist official day of classes at this, our fourth session of Ambassador Academy – Sikkim! We had a great time and look forward to a powerful three months with our students. This year we have a total of 14 students from a range of places. We also have two part time students from our church in Sikkim. This year is a really great mix, with extra language challenges but we know the grace of God will see us through. Thank you for all of your prayers and support! I’ll keep you updated.

Here’s a rather hilarious display that you’re sure to enjoy. A couple of our students put on quite the show for us at our FuNight! Toward the end of our training times, we have a good time like this with the students…just for fun!
Fun Night!

I want to give everyone a heads-up on our current session of training at Ambassador Academy Sikkim. We’ve completed our fourth week of training and have another four more to go. It’s been awesome so far, and just keeps getting better and better. We have finally ended up with 14 students after a few no shows, and one returning home. A bit less than what we anticipated, but we believe these are the "chosen ones!"

We love seeing God’s people respond to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. At Ambassador Academy Sikkim, we have the honor of leading our students into an experience with the Holy Spirit, often for the first time in their lives. This session is no different. Watch the video and witness first hand what happens when a very thirsty for God young person gets filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time in their life! Special thanks to Delirious? for the cool music – you guys rock!
Filled with the Holy Ghost!

We’re gearing up for our third session of Ambassador Academy training in Sikkim, due to launch this Monday the 7th of Jan. 20 + students will be coming from several different parts of India and Nepal. Indian States represented are: Sikkim, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura. It’s going to be an awesome two-months as we train these laborers to fulfill the Great Commission. We welcome your prayers for our students and staff. I will be doing most of the teaching, along with my father-in-law. My brother in law, Rupak will be doing most of my interpreting, and we’ll have various guest speakers come and impart to our students. Special prayer requests include: If you would like to be involved in meeting the needs of our Bible School, don’t hesitate to let us know. Our budget for this session of training is about $500, $190 of which has already been committed. That amount will cover our food expenses for those students who aren’t able to pay tuition. There are other needs as well, the most prevalent of which is bedding: we need to make at least four more bunk beds to accommodate our students. We look forward to communicating to you the progress we make with the dear Ambassador’s the Lord is giving us the honor of equipping.
The Next Session…
