Srijana Chetri - March 11, 2000
Srijana joined our family in December of 2006. To the left is a picture of her during that first Christmas, right around the time that we took her in, and to the right is a more recent picture…I love to see the difference that just one year can make!
We found out about Srijana from a man who worked with her dad and who used to come to our church. We found out that Srijana had just been sent to live with her dad because she was too old to live in the Mother Teresa home, and that her dad wasn’t able to take care of her. Srijana’s mom died when she was just a little girl, and she had lived in the Mother Teresa home for most of her childhood. Her dad works and lives in a hotel, earning around $20 per month, and the hotel wouldn’t allow his daughter to stay with him. So, we decided she could come and be a part of our family.

If you would like to participate in the sponsorship of Srijana, or other children in our Hope Home, just let us know by leaving a comment below. It costs only $40.00 per month to sponsor a child. There are also plenty of opportunities to give into the maintenance of our Hope Home facility as well.
About sponsorship: The Lord meets our needs no matter what happens. So, whether someone is able to sponsor a child or not, that does not change the care that each of our children receive; care, which is excellent. Sponsorship is simply an opportunity for you to be involved in changing someone else’s life, and that is the coolest thing in the world.
