Here’s a word of advice or caution for anyone that wants to do anything for God: Don’t try so hard that you forget to trust God.
Believe me, it’s easy to do. If you’ve got any amount of ambition at all you will try, and it’s easy to try real hard when you want to see real results. The key is to channel your ambition into releasing the power of God.
Remember the spiritual dynamics that make it all possible. It has very little to do with how much I try, but has everything to do with how much God is doing.
How do I get God involved, and release His power to accomplish what He has put in my heart?
Trust
T – Thank God often
R – Remain completely dependent on Him
U – Understand His will at all times
S – Seek His direction continually
T – Tune your heart to His
Those are just some ways to make sure God is in the middle of the work! Trust Him and you won’t have to try so hard.
