I’m excited to update you on “Hope Home†happenings here in Sikkim. 2009 was a great year, and brought the total number of our children up to 9 – we’re excited to see what 2010 has in store. Over the last several months I’ve mentioned our desire to enroll our children into better schools. Potentially, this can be done in February when the new school year begins, however, we still need additional sponsors.
So far, we’ve only received extra support for two of our boy’s increased schooling costs. That leaves 6 children in need of increase at $40 per child.
We’re standing in faith and praying things out on this side. If provision is made for all our kids, it will be a delight to send them to better schools, however we don’t feel led to send only some of them. We’ll wait until they can all go together. This year would be great, but if need be, we’ll wait and see how things progress next time.
