Giving your life

Today a great friend/leader/mentor of mine, Pastor Kevin Cooley, asked some probing question on his blog. (P.K. if you’re reading this – much love to you!)

He talked about “the most important thing” and “what we are doing about it.” Those are thoughts that are worth our attention. I believe the most important thing is people, the precious individuals that Jesus gave His life for. And I believe that “what we must be doing” is laying down our lives just like Jesus did.

The question I pose is this, “how are we laying our lives down!?” Really, how are we practically doing something about what is most important to God?

Care to share your heart on this? I would love for every reader to give an example of how they’re laying down their life.
