Remember that song…“I can’t get no, da da da da, satisfaction, da da da da…” Bla Bla Bla Bla!
Because we are spiritual beings by nature, we can only find true satisfaction in spiritual things. Of course, there are many false satisfiers that individuals pursue in an attempt to find fulfillment, but the end is always the same; emptiness. And they’ll always leave us singing the same song.
To be truly satisfied in this life, our spirits must be touched with the life of God, and nothing else will truly bring fulfillment except to fulfill His perfect will. Fulfillment comes when we fulfill God’s will for our lives.
Consider this powerful verse from the book of Psalms:
Psalm 17:15 (AMP)
“As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake [to find myself] beholding Your form [and having sweet communion with You].
Your ticket to a life of fulfillment can only be found in waking up every day with Jesus at the center of your life, to behold Him, and to enjoy sweet communion with Him each and every day! Nothing else will ever satisfy, for that is the will of God for your life!
Go ahead – get some satisfaction today! Let the presence of Jesus invade your heart.
