Hebrews 4:3b AMP
“…and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.”
The plan of God is complete. He’s waiting for just one thing. He’s waiting for all who will believe. Right now, this is what it’s all about. It’s all about the lost being found, the nations being reached, and multitudes coming into the Kingdom of God.
Everyday individuals are putting their faith in Christ. One by one, they’re coming in. And one day, the last one God has been waiting for will believe, and Jesus will return. Those one’s God is patiently waiting for are the people we, as Christians, know. They are our neighbors, our friends and our family members. God Almighty is waiting for them to believe.
God Almighty is waiting for us to reach them. This is why we’re here, let us not forget. We believer’s are the ones through whom others will believe, and our God and Savior will receive that for which He patiently awaits.
Just think, you could be the one to reach that final one, that last individual who will surrender their life to Christ. But if you delay, all is delayed, and all God can do is continue to wait. Let’s each do our part and make sure to reach all we can, and may none we know be left behind.
