It’s a lot more comfortable in the boat, where the surroundings are familiar and the environment is controlled, than out on the water; kinda like it is in the church versus out in the world. But the thing is this…Jesus is constantly calling us out of that controlled environment and into a place where we are completely dependant on Him.
In what areas is Jesus calling you to step out in? Has your worship become comfortable? How about your outreach? When things begin to get comfortable, it’s a sure sign that it’s time to step out and shake things up a bit. I’d rather be a wet brother than a dry one.
I believe, with Jesus , we are more comfortable and FREE, FREE, FREE… from these Natural World’s scourges and hindrance.
Faith, obedience, worship and exchange God’s Words with family members,relatives,friends,neighbors and people of our communities must be our daily mandate/motive as true Christians believers.One more important thing to observe is “Submission under His Authority, as stated in Proverb 22:4 :
” The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is riches, honor and life”.
