There has been quite a lot of activity around here lately. The holidays always bring with them lots of great opportunity to share the gospel with people who may not be as open during other parts of the year. We have seized the opportunity to bring the gospel to the precious people around us! Seeds have been planted and great fruit is being produced – praise Jesus!
December 18th & 19th – I hooked up with a fellow minister and graduate of Domata India, and together with his team, we preached the gospel to hundreds of hungry listeners. There were testimonies of healing, and many responded to the invitation for salvation. I returned to Sikkim on the 21st.
December 24th – We had our first ever pizza party and costume party for M&G Youth at Embassy of Hope in Sikkim. (Pizza is not a real popular item around here, but it still went over well. Next time we might do Momo’s instead – some of you know what those are!). There was a great turn out, with many new youth, and many of them expressed a desire to know Jesus. We look forward to helping them to pursue the One who has all their answers.
After the youth event we went home and opened Christmas presents. We had somewhere around 16 people in our house, with my in-laws and our orphans and others – it was lots of fun!
And today! December 25th – Christmas! We had an awesome gathering at our church. We invited lots and lots of people, and many of them showed up – praise the Lord! It was a great time of singing and dancing, with Christmas skits and I was able to preach the gospel to all who were present. It was a great time in Jesus!
In addition to all this fun, three people gave their hearts to Jesus at church last Sunday, and this Friday I’ll be taking a group of our leaders for a Prayer Summit in a place about 4 ½ hours from our home base. We’ll be meeting up with graduates of ours who are ministering throughout the Northeast region. We expect about 25 or so ministers to be present. It’s going to be a great time of prayer and a great time to connect!
Stay tuned!
