As our stateside stay lengthens this year, we are using the time as an opportunity to begin a new strategy of network expansion. This strategy is designed to assist us in making new contacts as well as give us a “pulse†on local missions within local churches throughout the United States. While we will be focusing mostly on the independent churches, we are open to reaching out to all denominations. We find, though, that independent churches are especially in need of a strong mission’s connection because they often times lack the big organized mission’s board that a denomination provides.
To assist us in this new networking campaign we are inviting volunteers to get involved. Having just begun, we don’t have any volunteers yet, but I do want to make this opportunity available to everyone that reads this blog. If you are interested in getting involved and would like more information, please let me know.
I believe part of my calling is to be somewhat of a catalyst for unity, and I believe unity around missions is the thrust of that call. I long to see the body of Christ united for the cause of reaching the nations for Jesus. I know it is happening, and I know much more is needed to bring in this last days harvest and usher in the second coming of Christ.
