This weekend I traveled to a little village called Takdha, near Darjeeling in West Bengal. We have several ministry connections there who are actively involved in fulfilling the Great Commission. Though they work in the shadows of long established religion, God is using them to reach a generation that’s not interested in the religious but desperately needs Jesus. Great things are happening.
During my short visit we led about 15 young men to Jesus; many of them ex-drug addicts! We also led about a dozen woman and young ladies in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. While visiting one local church, we encountered a wonderful move of the Spirit among the orphan children. It was awesome to see young boys and girls being touched by God; they were falling under His power, trembling in His presence, while some shouted and others cried. It was absolutely beautiful!
It’s such a joy to help bring heaven to this region. God is moving and it truly is an honor to be part of it. Next week we’ll travel to Siliguri, West Bengal for our open-air gospel outreach! We’re expecting a wonderful harvest and anticipate planting a new church in the area. To God be the glory!
