What an honor and privilege it is to serve the Lord in India – “The Nation of Salvation”! God is moving in this land, among these people, and we’re so glad we get to be a part of it. As our partner, you are “in” on everything God does through us too… and that is a great reason to REJOICE!
I want to share some quick highlights with you from a student outreach that we conduct every week. We just finished our first year at one of the schools in Gangtok, and over the last several months we have methodically led students into a living understanding of who Christ is. It’s been an amazing process, making disciples without them really knowing it, and we’re confident that the seeds sown into these precious young lives are going to yield eternal fruit!
Here are some pictures from our last meeting, which was also a Christmas celebration for the students where we gave each of them a small gift – it was a strong finish with 125 students participating.
- Every week we interact with the students through songs, skits, games, a video presentation about the life of Christ and the preaching of the gospel!
Here the students are receiving their Christmas gifts. A small way for us to show them that we really do love them, and that Jesus loves them!
There was even a surprise visit by Santa Clause - just for fun!
The students will be going on their winter vacations this week, and after about 3 months, we look forward so another fruitful year. We have other schools in our radar to begin similar outreaches in, and that would be a great area for your to remember us in your prayers. We’re also working on getting onto the college campus – believe with us for open doors!
