Can anyone please tell me if April fools day is a nationally celebrated holiday anywhere besides India. I mean I know that it’s recognized as some sort of day. But were the banks closed in America or anywhere else in the world? If you are reading this from any nation besides India, please just tell me, where the banks closed?

Seriously, I never really noticed it before; maybe I’ve never had bank work on this day in the past 8 years, or maybe they’ve just recently amped this day up a notch. I don’t know. It wasn’t a government holiday or anything like that. There was still school, it’s just all the stinking banks were closed and that’s what got me.

Anyhow, just wondering?

P.S. I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m complaining too much; after all it is April fool’s Day! Ha!

American banks don’t close because it is more of an unofficial holiday.
