Destiny is back home and doing great! She was discharged from the hospital after a minor operation, and we’re glad to have her at home again. I’ve been receiving lots of inquiries regarding adoption, which is very encouraging. It’s awesome to know that there are so many of God’s people looking for an opportunity to adopt a child.
On our end, we are still researching the whole international adoption deal. It’s quite the ball of wax with (as you can imagine) lots of red tape. Please uphold us in your prayers as we navigate through these waters. We are trusting for the favor of God to surround us and for the right doors to open up.
In the end, we just want the Lord’s perfect will to be done. So, for Baby Destiny, that could mean a local family who loves Jesus will adopt her or an international family. Or, she may stay with us and be a part of our children’s home. We just know that she is in a place and with people who will help shape her eternal destiny in Christ and that’s exciting!
