Jesus is Lord of the harvest (Matthew 9:38), He is building His Church (Matthew 16:18), and we are co laborers together with Him (2 Corinthians 6:1). There is nothing I would rather do with my life than to contribute to what the Lord is doing. He is all about people being reached, and by establishing His Church He will accomplish the task.
In Sikkim, and around India, we are overjoyed as we see the Church of the Lord Jesus being established. It is a progressive work, which scripture describes as a “stone cut without hands… becoming a mountain, and filling the whole earth.” (Daniel 2:34-35). Through the Church, the Kingdom of God is being established! We are seeing it happen here as we labor together with the Lord, and for all who contribute to this work, you are right here with us.
Establishing the Church is a spiritual work, but requires some things to be done in the natural too. One of those natural things that we’ve been dealing with in Sikkim is registering our church with the local government. It has taken us about a year, but we’re finally done! Below is a picture of our newly granted registration.
Completing this process is a victory for us, which will give us greater local strength in our community. We are also working on the registration of Sikkim’s “Hope Home”, which too will give us greater influence, just as our school Hope Academy has. All of it (Embassy of Hope Church, Sikkim’s Hope Home, and Hope Academy) is tied into the kingdom of God being established, and is contributing to this end: more people being reached!
