We don’t hold on to them very long for several reasons but none is more important than the simple fact that their nation needs them. The harvest needs laborers plain and simple. We spend enough time with them to put some fire in their spirit, some meat on their bones and a foundation under their feet; the rest is up to them. Though we look forward to spending time together in the future, reuniting and visiting with them; so much depends on them simply stepping out in faith and putting into action all that they’ve learned.
Today we will release 11 more laborers of the gospel into the harvest, one less than we started with because she wasn’t able to complete the training. Over the last three months we’ve focused extensively on four things, which we call our C.O.R.E.
- Called
- Helping each of our students discover their calling.
- Ordained
- Understanding that our first priority is Jesus. We’re been ordained to be with Him.
- Released
- Everyone He calls, He also releases that we might share the wonderful things He’s done for us.
- Endued
- Not only does He release us, but He first endues us with power to accomplish all of His will.
Everything we cover in our training fits somewhere into those four categories. Each of our students knows that they’ve been called, and that their top priority is their relationship with God. Now we anticipate releasing them with the endued power of the Holy Ghost!
