The blessing of God or a curse hinges on one pivotal issue. For the unbeliever, the blessing isn’t even an option because they fist must believe. But for the believer, you will have one or the other…the blessing or a curse.
Jeremiah 11:3
“Say to them, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Cursed is the man who does not heed the words of this covenant or solemn pledge”
That’s right, cursed is the man…And it’s all because of one thing: choosing to disobey the Word of God. The blessing of God in your life depends completely on your willingness to obey His Word. Disobedience opens the door to Satan, and he brings with him the curse.
So obey God. Obey His Word. Walk in love, put nothing before Him. Serve others, forgive. Oh yeah, did I mention love. Remember, anything outside the love of God is disobedience and sin, and nothing will open the door to the devil faster than walking outside that love.
It’s that simple friend – it really is! Obey God and be blessed!
