I believe in the power of focus! It just works. You can apply it to spiritual or natural things, either way, when applied the results are always good. Focus is very powerful!
On the flip side is living the double, triple, quadruple, etc. When your focus or purpose is divided it weakens your position and is a precursor for failure.
I like what the famous country singer Dolly Parton said, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.†I couldn’t agree more!
My only addition is to add “with focus“. Live on purpose with focus! Oh yeah, and don’t let your focus be divided! Check out what the Bible says:
1 Chronicles 12:33
“Of Zebulun, 50,000 experienced troops, fitted out with all kinds of weapons and instruments of war that could order and set the battle in array, men not of double purpose but stable and trustworthy.”
The Bible says those guys were stable and trustworthy. Stable and trustworthy because they were not of double purpose. They knew who they were and they were living with focus – that, friend, will keep you on target, and make you stable and trustworthy!
Keep living on purpose – keep living with focus! And stay out of double trouble…
