The countdown has begun… Just 6 days remain before we begin our India trip. We’re packing and preparing, getting all the last minute details in place before we take off – it’s a busy week.
This time we have more luggage than we’ve ever had. We’re loaded for Christmas with clothes galore, over 15 pairs of shoes for all our “Hope Home” children, Nerf guns and toys for all the kids, along with all our personal stuff. We’re looking at 9 – 10 checked bags weighing in at around 50 lb each… Wheeew! We’re trying to conserve space since each bag beyond 8 costs $200 a pop to check.
Our time Stateside has been tremendous! The Lord has added to our support base, and opened many new doors during our trip. We’re thankful to all our friends and family who have made our time in the U.S. as special as it has been – it really has been an awesome time!
As soon as we get settled back into India life you can look forward to regular posts and updates from us. We always enjoy keeping in touch with our friends, and this year we look forward to testing out Apple’s new facteime app on our iPad – let’s see how our internet connection does.
