Here is a capsule of what the Lord put on my heart for our church this morning:
If you are not burning, you are not ready for the glory of God!
We’ve been focusing a lot on the glory of God around here. We believe that God is getting ready (and has already begun) to invade the earth like never before. We are living in the midst of, and on the brink of, a glory invasion!
How prepared are we? If you look at the parable that Jesus told in Matthew 25, starting in verse 1, there were 10 people and 50% of them weren’t ready. Those aren’t the best statistics. I wonder how our churches are doing. 50% of the individuals in the parable of the 10 virgins weren’t ready. Why? Because they had no oil, and they had no fire. When they finally did get it together, they knocked on the door and the Lord said that He didn’t even know them.
I believe that if an individual who claims to be a child of God is not burning, they will be terribly sorry when they stand before Jesus. The Lord may say to them, “I don’t know you.” My challenge to you is this: if you’re not burning, the Lord cannot recognize you!
So, dear friend, to be prepared is to burn! Your lamp must be lit, and you must have plenty of oil!
Praise Jesus! We’re getting ready for greater glory!
