The time has come for us to head for the skies, and once again make our decent into the Nation of Salvation! Our time stateside this year has been the best ever. There has been such grace, so many impartations, and just an all around awesome time for the whole family. None-the-less, we are so ready to get back home.
We thought that we could finish up all of Jyoti’s U.S. citizenship stuff before returning to India, but that is proving to take much longer than we had hoped. So, we will have to finish that up next time around. After making the decision to take care of immigration stuff later, we wasted no time in making travel plans for India. We leave Monday.
Our travels begin the evening of the 18th, and we’ll reach our final destination of Sikkim on the 21st. We’re looking forward to a very grace filled journey, and we appreciate your prayers for the same.
There’s a lot on the plate back home. We’ll be preparing for our 4th session of Ambassador Academy in Sikkim after the New Year. And we’re excited about what’s happening in our base church as well as the new works that began last year. We will keep you updated.
Thank you for your prayers and thank you for your support; we pray for God’s abundant blessing to continue to shower upon your life. Always remember how blessed you are, and remember why you are here: it is to bring glory to your Father in heaven.
With love and for the harvest,
Mike Van Buskirk & Family
P.S. Travel expenses have reached an all time high, and as the Lord leads you, we could use extra help in this area.
To the amazing Van Buskirk family,
We were so blessed to have you all come to our Christian adult foster care home in Culp Creek during your visit here in the states. Your kiddos are both wonderful bursts of joy from God! I know you bring lots of grace and love from your Christian brothers and sisters here back to India with you. May your endeavors continue to be bold and full of glory for our great Father.
Next time you visit we should have more than chickens out here at “Lissa’s Villa,” hopefully a bunch of Nubian goats, a couple of donkeys and some horses.
Our love to you in Christ,
Paul and Melissa
