Productivity is defined as the quality or state of being productive.
We all want to produce more; to do more, accomplish more…etc.
The thing I’m becoming more and more aware of is that greater productivity doesn’t come by my just doing more. It actually kicks in when I prioritize more…
So, what are my priorities?
Above all, and second to none, to truly produce great results for the Kingdom of God I must be a man of prayer.
We can actually accomplish more in prayer than we could possibly accomplish without it; no matter how much we try. In fact, true productivity will actually flow out of our prayer lives. There is simply no substitute.
I believe it was Martin Luther who said, “I have so much to do today that I shall spend the first three house in prayer.” That’s great prioritizing.
