An even better question than, “What are you uncertain of?” is, “What are you certain of?” One certainty dispels a thousand uncertainties. If you are certain – (fully persuaded) – of something, then you’re able to look past what might seem like an uncertainty. For example, if you’re certain that God will meet every need of yours, then all the questions (uncertainties) surrounding how the need will be met suddenly aren’t relevant.
If you’re certain that God is faithful, then you won’t worry about every seeming impossible situation.
If you’re certain that God is able to keep you, then you will walk with confidence.
If you’re certain that Jesus is Lord, you will govern your life accordingly.
Certainties certainly do make a huge difference in our lives and being certain is just another way of describing faith. Remember, “Without faith it is impossible to please God…” (Hebrews 11:6).
The certainties in your life enable you to live a life of faith which pleases God.
What are you certain of today?
