Romans 12:21 AMP
“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.”
When you become a master of evil you are in control, not it. It doesn’t overcome you. It doesn’t control you.
Evil has many faces. It looks like the divisive church member, the unfaithful spouse, the angry mob, and these many faces can all be overcome. We overcome them with good.
Just keep believing, keep loving, continue giving and pray without ceasing. Evil seeks to overcome all who allow it to, and it happens when we withhold the good that makes us its master.
Good is more powerful than evil. Love than hate. Generosity than selfishness. Faith than doubt. Slap the face of evil with a handful of good. Make the devil sorry he ever showed his ugly face, not by fighting, doubting and worrying, but by doing good.
The goodness of God in you and through is what makes you a master! Use what God has given you and be what He has called you to be.
