As we plow the spiritual landscape of Sikkim, India and the regions surrounding us, we’re confident that many are on the brink of eternal life. So many seeds have been planted and it’s just a matter of time before harvest comes. I was recently encouraged along these lines from this text found in 1 Samuel 3:7:
“Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord was not yet revealed to him.”
Not yet.
So many are called but they just don’t know yet…not yet. So many great things are going to be done by so many, and it doesn’t matter how hard or uninterested the individual might seem presently; we live in the realm of possibility not impossibility. It’s just a matter of time, revelation will come, and they will know Him.
Would you take a moment to pray for those who don’t yet know Him? Mix you faith with ours for the harvest here, for all the seeds that have been sown, and believe with us for the many who are called but don’t yet know the Lord. Pray that they would soon know Him.
We can fast forward through the life of Samuel and see all the wonderful things he did for God, but we can’t forget that there was a time when he didn’t yet know the Lord. God had called Samuel before he even knew Him.
