Dear Friends!

This is a special sneak preview of a recording project I’m working on. It’s special because this music has never been heard before, and what you’re about to listen to is still in its rough. For those of you who take the time to listen to this song titled, Jesus Christ is Knockin, I would love to know what style of music you consider this to be. We’re working on producing a sound that is radical in nature, and perhaps fits in a category of its own, and I would love to hear your opinion.

Jesus Christ is Knockin

Enjoy!

Way cool.  Now that is how we walk out our gifts.  It never ceases to amaze me how God uses you and your ministry.  I love this song.  Very edgy. It does however sound like you may be singing on the off beat. I am not sure if that is what you were trying to do or not. Love yaAlli

  8. kris lowry says:

    rock/metal/rap but mostly rock

  9. vicki says:

    hey Mike,
I like it!  Robert says it is raprock, it needs a bass line tho.  I hope you sing it for us when you come over this summer.  You and Adam should get together and jam…

Hey Mike,It’s different, but the world is different.CJ

  11. B & K says:

I love it! The beat is very catchy to where I would sit and listen to what the words are actually saying. And the fact that I can actually understand them – well, that is a huge factor for me! As far as category… hmmm… not sure.

  12. Vern says:

Very different. Catchy tune. I think there is definitely an audience for that sound. Little too edgy for me.

  13. Brian says:

It may need a little refining, but all in all it talks about Jesus so how can you go wrong.

  14. maggie says:

    could call your music style
    ” soul-talkin’ ” !! –
with Jesus as your focal point…that’s always good!

  15. Ade says:

I think the music has a Hip-Hop flavor. The electric guitars give it a rock sound also. The message is great. I believe though that the “electric” sound is a bit much.
Thanks for putting you talents as well as that of all involved in this project to use for the glory of God.

    Blessings,

    Ade

  16. Thanks for the feedback everyone, it’s been really great!

  18. Robin Marsh says:

Hey Mike,I just listened to your new sound! I think it’s catchy and would personally describe it as “contemporary christian rap”.But then, what do I know? Michelle would be better at describing it.She’ll probably post a message soon if she hasn’t already done so.Well, God bless you and your family and keep in touch.Sincerely; Robin Marsh.
