Being part of a family, ministry team, church body or any other group involves solving problems. Too often, though, members of a group think another member of the group is the problem, and that only causes more problems. But we don’t want to cause more problems do we, we want to solve them, right!
We have a common enemy, it’s the devil. We have a common problem, it’s whatever is hindering the gospel. I’ve found that when a group identifies the problem, and establishes that it is not one of its members, and then works together to solve that problem, it has a profound unifying affect. And unity within any group is vital!
As soon as a team discovers that they have been called to work together to overcome their enemy or problem, whether internal or external, they can then focus their energy, talents and special giftings to overcome! They work with each other instead of against each other. They become better friends in the process, and each member becomes a source of encouragement for the others.
Identify the problem you face within your group. Do not make a person the problem. Maybe it’s an attitude, a reoccurring conflict, or an issue your community faces. Once you’ve identified the problem, work together to overcome it, calling on each member of the group to contribute to the answer.
The Church is on this earth to solve this world’s problems. We each have an important part to play in the success of this mission. Let’s remember who the real enemy is, and not allow the devil to divide us!
Greetings Mike,
Believers and non-believers should also look at resolving problems and relationship matters in LOVE! We are all instructed to love one another, pray for one another, support one another etc for we are to reflect God. God is love! All Children of God have the same Father. Whosoever does not love, does not know God. That is why unity is essential.
May God Prosper And Make You Fruitful In His Vineyard.
