Can you believe we’ve already made it a third of the way through 2014? I guess it’s true every year, but it certainly does seem like time is flying by. I can definitely say that time is NOT dragging, we’re having way too much fun for that.
Looking back on the past four months, I’m pleased with the progress we’ve made in India. There’s been lots of great developments locally, and we continue to move forward one step at a time. Beyond Sikkim, I have had less direct involvement in network activities, but the vision remains strong and we continue receiving a steady flow of good reports from around India and beyond.
One development relating to our network involves our partners in Punjab. If you’ve been following our ministry in recent years, you may recall that we’ve been involved with a Bible School we helped establish there.
This year that Bible School has been on hold as the young pastor we’ve been working with just got married. He’d actually been in the U.K. for several months and met his wife there. They just had their wedding a couple of weeks ago.
I just spoke with Pastor Victor and, since we’ve put the school on hold this year, we’re going to see how many of our previous Ambassador Academy graduates we can gather and send to Domata India in August. I’m hope to send at least 6 students.
As always, we thank you for your prayers and support. Please remember us as we move forward in bringing the gospel to the nation of India and beyond!
With Love,
Mike Van Buskirk
