Thank God that He does the qualifying! It’s not according to the opinions or approval of men, and it’s not according to my inherent goodness or lack thereof. It’s the Lord that qualifies!
Isaiah 61:1
“THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.”
You see, it’s the Lord that anointed and qualified you for service, so next time you feel unqualified or unworthy remind yourself of the above verse. Remind yourself that King Jesus has qualified you and anointed you with the mighty Holy Ghost. The Head of the Church has qualified you to be an active part of His body, and He has work for you to do.
You are qualified and the only one that can disqualify you is…you! And that’s a choice. Choose to be chosen – choose to be qualified! Choose to believe in the work Jesus has done in you.
