I’ve tallied the submissions and the results are in, your votes combined with others from around India make quite the statement. For those of you who know how vital the subject of righteousness is, these poll results are quite telling. They tell the story of how many of God’s people simply do not know who they are in Christ. The good news is that the majority of our voters (52%) did express their righteousness in Christ – praise God.
When presenting this poll to believers in India, I communicated to them that there really are only two correct answers. Either you are a number 1 or a number 10, there is no in-between. If a believer sides with number 1, then it means they’re not factoring in what Christ has done. If a believer places somewhere in the middle, it means that they’re factoring in their own “good works” or lack thereof. But praise God, all who are in Christ are indeed 10’s – our works didn’t get us there, and our works cannot take away from what Christ has done.
Here’s one way of interpreting these results: a number 2 signifies the belief that redemption was only 20% effective, number 3 – 30%, and number 7 – 70% etc.
We know that redemption is in fact 100% effective! That mean you – child of God – are a number 10! Believe it, and let your lifestyle flow from that belief.
