A 6.8 earthquake jolted our home base State of Sikkim, India and was felt throughout Northeast India today. After we received the news, we immediately began making attempts to contact family and team members. Thankfully, we were able to successfully get through and we were given the welcomed news that everyone is okay. Throughout the state, however, there are many who are not okay. A state of emergency has been declared, and we will soon learn more of the details. We ask that you please keep this matter in your prayers.
As our experience has always been, anytime something happens that is disastrous in nature, open doors for the gospel follow. That is our hope and prayer during this time. Whatever the need is, we hope to be in a place to offer the greatest help we possibly can.
We will do our best to keep you updated as we learn more. Our family is currently in Eugene, Oregon for a time of refreshing and refueling, and our hearts are now more than ever back in India.
