“Solomon Son of David was strengthened in his kingdom…†2 Chronicles 1:1
I like that, “…strengthened in his kingdom…†You know, the kingdoms you and I associate with will determine our levels of strength. By identifying with the Kingdom of God, and integrating our lives into His Kingdom, we will absolutely be strengthened because the child of God is strengthened in the Kingdom of God. Taking it a step further, we can actually say that His Kingdom is ours; we are citizens! And we can certainly draw strength from that.
If, however, we associate with the kingdoms of this world and darkness, the strength of God will be sapped from our lives. You can only be strong in God if He is your King, and you must identify yourself as a citizen in His Kingdom to remain strong.
Remember this principle: We are truly part of His Kingdom when He is King, and in His Kingdom we will be strengthened.
My prayer for you is that you will be strengthened today; perhaps all you need to do is remind yourself that Jesus is King, and that you are part of His Kingdom! Go ahead and thank God for the Kingdom you are a part of, and thank Jesus that He is the King of your life.
