Thanks again for standing with us! We’re so thankful for all that God is doing through us, and we couldn’t do it without the prayers and support of our ministry partners.
Great progress is being made in the area of outreach. This is a big emphasis for us and we’re continually looking for ways to expand. Our greatest challenge is the need to continually form new outreach teams, which requires more manpower. Right now we have 6 weekly outreaches for children and youth and more are on the radar. I tend to always want to do more, but I’m learning to pace myself. I don’t want to overwork everyone. So, in the end, the need for more disciples… more volunteers / team members etc. is where we need to focus our energy.
These boys are from a football (soccer) outreach we hold every Saturday. We’re helping the youth boys to form teams and hold tournaments. With this we’re building relationships and introducing youth to Christ. Last week we had over 30 boys on the football field.
Outreaches like the one pictured above are helping us to connect with young people all over our city. Last week we had a combined total of over 100 young people from 6 different locations and almost all of them come from families who don’t yet know hope in Christ. We are working to change that, and we so much appreciate you standing with us. Please uphold us in your prayers; especially in the area of forming new teams to reach out into new locations.
On another note, I invite you to rejoice with us for being able to help one of our network pastors to buy a new car. I mentioned last week this opportunity, and with the support of our partners we were able to help in a big way. Pictured below is Pastor Samuel and his new car.
