Praise Jesus! Last Sunday was our first service in our semi-permanent new location. We had 18 people in attendance, and most all of them are very new believers or are still in the process of becoming believers. It’s awesome to see how God is developing the ministry in Shillong as He forms the core group of saints there. One of the most prevalent observations I’ve made is that the people are starving for purpose. With the start of this new church, many are finding a purpose for their lives. The days of just sitting around and doing nothing or just focusing on self are gone forever. The Kingdom of God is being established in Shillong and that Kingdom has brought with it a very specific plan and purpose for all involved.
There are still many opportunities to get involved with this new work. As the Holy Spirit leads you, if you desire to participate in any way, please let us know. We have teams traveling to and from Shillong every week, and we are looking for a house that we can rent there so there are some practical needs involved in this work, and we know that God will supply all of them.
