Who do you speak for?

God has given you a voice. Your voice has a purpose. It is to speak. The question is, “For whom are you using your voice to speak on behalf of?”

Isaiah 62:1

“FOR ZION’S sake will I [Isaiah] not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest…”

I believe it is part of the purpose of God for each of His children to speak on behalf of someone else. It’s called intercession. It’s about standing in the gap for someone less fortunate, it’s about bringing heaven’s blessing to those who have no covenant with God. You become their link. Your voice becomes their hope.

For that nation still in darkness. For that village that’s never heard the name of Jesus. For the oppressed or afflicted. For the poor.

Who do you speak for?
