Willing to wait... - Soul-Purpose!

I’m going to go ahead and give myself some really good advice. Well, actually, I’m going to take some really good advice from the Word of God and apply it! You’re welcome to join me if you’d like…

Isaiah 64:4

“For from of old no one has heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who [earnestly] waits for Him.”

To whom does God work and show Himself active to? Those who earnestly wait for Him, that’s who.

I really want to be one of the one’s that God is actively working in and through, so what must I do? God’s Word says wait.

If you want to experience the awesome power of God and see His mighty hand revealed (who wouldn’t), then you’ve got to learn to wait. There are no shortcuts and there is no magic formula; there’s just this somewhat mysterious process of waiting on Him. If we’ll undergo this process, anticipation will build and we’ll enter into a place with God where He is able to manifest Himself.

Waiting on Him – earnestly – describes a yearning of heart and a willingness to abandon all just for Him. In prayer, in worship, in communion with the Holy Spirit; just simply waiting in His presence, listening to His heart, singing to Him. Loving Him. Adoring Him. Waiting.

Oh yes, He will answer, and in power He will be revealed to those who wait.
