I just finished an eleven week series on the love of God at Embassy of Hope church in Sikkim; that’s right eleven weeks…wheew! It’s been awesome. We could probably go another eleven, but I believe it’s time to step into something else. I have personally learned so much, and have gained lots of valuable revelation on the subject. Most of the topics we covered were so obvious but just needed to be emphasized. All of our lessons came straight out of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 where there are at least 16 distinct characteristics of love found; we covered each one in our eleven series stretch.
The reason I believe the Lord led us on this path is simple; if we’re going to do anything significant for our God and King, it must be born out of a heart of love. A heart that is moved and directed by the never-failing love of God. Period. There is so much in our hearts and there is huge desire in the people we are connected to, and I believe that a life defined by the love of God is a life destined for success, and that goes for any ministry as well. We will accomplish all that God has called us to accomplish. Why? Because we choose to walk in His love.
Anyhow, I could go on and on….
Love,
Mike
Disclaimer:
I by no means consider myself to be an expert on this subject, so in the future if and when I fail to walk in the perfect love of God, please forgive me.

It’s been a little while since I posted an update focusing particularly on Embassy of Hope Church in Sikkim; so here goes…
For the last month and a half or so, we’ve been focusing extensively on the love of God during our ministry of God’s Word. It’s been really good. Going off of 1 Corinthians 13, we’ve been looking step by step at every description of love mentioned there. From my observation there are 16 distinct attributes, which consist of two groups of 8. You’ll find 8 things that Love is and does, and 8 things that Love is not and does not do.
The believers here are active in ministry. We have a handful of men and women who are leading cell groups throughout each week, and the Lord continues to add new believers to our midst. After the recent graduation of Ambassador Academy, one of our graduating couples is in position to start a new church where they are from. The husband, who has known the Lord for a very short time, has already led seven of his family members to the Lord!
In the month of April, we will be taking a team from our church in Sikkim, and we’ll be heading to Shillong. In that place, we are making preparations to start another church as well. We rejoice in all the Lord is accomplishing through His people here. The Kingdom of God is being established, and all the glory is His. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Check out this fun video highlighting images from our recent children’s outreach!
It was three days, with three teams in three different locations - and (most importantly) lots of kids hearing about Jesus! Many of them for the first time ever!
On the last day we ministered to a combined total of 66 children + adults who were listening from a distance. It was a great outreach with clowns, puppets and a magic show, and each team did a wonderful job. We’ll be continuing our efforts in each location with weekly children’s cell groups.
