Jesus is all the reason we need. His life is our inspiration. His death frees us from condemnation, His resurrection provides the transformation, and His soon return is our motivation. This is all extra clear to us as we celebrate the wonderful gift of redemption this weekend. From Good Friday to Easter Sunday and beyond may the joys of Jesus be yours!
In India, there are no Easter bunnies or eggs, just a heightened awareness of Jesus, which we will do our best to leverage for the gospel through outreach. Then, on Sunday, we will baptize a handful of new believers as we celebrate the resurrection.
Also, we’ve made great progress on the projects I’ve been mentioning the last few weeks. For the church building construction we needed $500 and we received a surprise contribution of that very amount to cover the cost. Those funds have already been sent to Pastor Sudhir and we should have pictures to share soon. Also, for the one month Bible School, with another surprise contribution we have enough to cover all the food expenses for the training of 25 students which will begin on April 13th. That was the main expense Pastor Pintu was facing and we’re blessed to cover it.
Together we’re able to meet practical needs and empower laborers of the gospel to do more, which is exactly how the body of Christ is supposed to work. So, thank you for helping us help them!
