God news is always good news and good news always has God in it! Just yesterday we took our 8th little by into our Sikkim “Hope Home”. He is 6 year old Siddarth. This brings our total number of children up to 13, to God be the glory!
Siddarth was abandoned by his mother after his dad left her, and through a local newspaper reporter he was brought to us. The little guy was living in slum like conditions and developed a kidney infection that he is currently undergoing treatment for. God’s healing power is already at work in his life.
We’re so blessed by the precious children our dear Father has given us the responsibility for. We need His grace everyday to accomplish the task of training up these future men and woman of God. Grace, grace, grace!
We’ve just started our school too, so Siddarth will join ranks with our other children and begin receiving an education with Jesus at its center. Our school, Hope International, is another part of an unfolding vision from God to impact our society for the glory of God.
Our entire team is extra busy with the added responsibility of teaching our children, and we wait expectantly for more help to come our way. Please pray for that, we need teachers and ministers to join us up here in Sikkim…the right ones!
