You will find, if you’ll seek Him.
“And you, Solomon my son, obey the God of your father and serve him with a submissive attitude and a willing spirit, for the Lord examines all minds and understands every motive of oneʼs thoughts. If you seek him, he will let you find him, but if you abandon him, he will reject you permanently.
1 Chronicles 28:9
Not seeking the Lord is stepping towards abandonment, and those who abandon are rejected. But for those who seek, He allows Himself to be found. If not for His willingness to reveal Himself, all of our seeking would be for not. But He is willing, the question is, “Am I seeking”?
We’ve just begun a 40 day time of prayer and fasting, and we are seeking the Lord. It’s always amazing what we find when we seek Him. Today the Lord shared two insights with me, and I would like to share them with you.
This is what the Spirit of God said:
- “The reason I cannot help some people in the supernatural is because they are too busy struggling in the natural.”
- “I desire intimacy not activity. Never let your activity replace our intimacy.”
Both statements are worthy of great thought and consideration, and more insights are waiting as we seek Him continually. Always remember, he who seeks finds. How much you find depends on how much you seek. Seek continually and you will continually find.
